ACWR (Acute:Chronic Workload Ratio) compares your recent training load to your longer-term average. It helps identify whether you’re underloading, training safely, or increasing load too quickly. Different cutoff ranges indicate stable progression or elevated injury risk.
LODE pulls raw running and physiological data from your wearable. This includes distance, pace, duration, heart rate, effort, and strain metrics. These signals are combined to calculate external load, internal load, and overall session load.
Wearables generate lots of data, but most runners don’t know how to use it. LODE turns complex metrics into clear, actionable training insights. It helps runners make smarter decisions, not just track stats.
Training load describes how much stress training places on your body over time. It explains why training can improve performance—or cause fatigue and injury. Managing load correctly is key to sustainable progress.
EWMA weights recent workouts more heavily than older ones. It reacts faster to sudden increases or drops in training. This makes it better for real-world running schedules and recovery patterns.
